Surveying work for the direct link between the airport and the DB AG rail network
The Leipziger Neuseenland lake district belongs to the greater central German lake district (Mitteldeutsches Seenland) and is a region that, in part, is still being developed.
The measuring area consisted of the western and eastern banks of the Rhine and extended from Maximiliansau (river km 362.07) to Mainz (river km 498.47). Additionally, the junctions of the Main, Neckar and the Lamperheimer, Stockstadt-Erfelden and Nackenheimer cut-off branches were measured. The level was also connected to the official elevation network.
In the course of the renovation of the tramway track network in the Leipzig urban area, extensive planning services were necessary for the realignment and adaptation or correction of the track geometry.
For this purpose, design surveying was carried out in advance, from exclusively the track position to the complete topography of the adjacent road area for complex road construction measures. During construction, metrological support was provided from the transfer of the track geometry project to the site to the final survey after completion of the construction measures.
